Boombah Pure Teal 12" Control Load

The Pure is Boombah's direct-to-consumer slowpitch composite, sold in an unusually wide range of barrel lengths and load configurations at a consistent price. The load is light — a touch of mass toward the end cap of the 12" barrel that most hitters will read as near-balanced with slightly better carry. The natural owner is a hitter who wins with timing and placement rather than raw strength, and who wants the bat to stay out of the way. The main caution is the standard composite one: it needs its break-in swings before peak response arrives, and it should be kept out of cold-weather batting practice. Cold weather is a real factor: composite response drops noticeably below roughly 60°F, and thin-walled barrels crack more easily in the cold. Keep it indoors before early-spring games and use a beater bat for cold cage work. A moderate break-in gets it to peak; it will play close to its best within the first few sessions.
