Victus Nox 13.25" No-No Load

The Nox slowpitch line brings Victus' two-piece composite construction to USSSA play with plain-spoken load tiers — No-No (balanced), Ya-Ya (mid), and Big Boy (heavy). Swing weight is genuinely balanced; the 13.25" barrel turns over quickly and lets you adjust late, the classic contact-hitter configuration. The natural owner is a hitter who wins with timing and placement rather than raw strength, and who wants the bat to stay out of the way. The main caution is the standard composite one: it needs its break-in swings before peak response arrives, and it should be kept out of cold-weather batting practice. Cold weather is a real factor: composite response drops noticeably below roughly 60°F, and thin-walled barrels crack more easily in the cold. Keep it indoors before early-spring games and use a beater bat for cold cage work. A moderate break-in gets it to peak; it will play close to its best within the first few sessions.
